Great
Calva and Cloven Stone received
the highest national quality grading of 5 stars in 2007, all other
cottages comfortably met the 4 star grading requirements.
Monkhouse
Hill was the outright winner of 'Self Catering Holiday of
the Year' in the 2003 Cumbria Tourist Board's Awards for Excellence, and
one of eight national finalists for the English award.
In
2007 we became one of the first accommodation providers in Cumbria to
receive the GTBS Silver award, following a rigorous assessment of all our
environmental policies and practices.
