Brae Fell Cottage is an imaginative
conversion of a large ancient Lake District barn which simply oozes character.
The ground floor has a spacious dining room with a fully equipped,
newly fitted kitchen alongside. The open tread stairs lead directly to a
stunning living room with atmospheric old beams, exposed stonework and
three large soft leather sofas. Adjacent to the living room is a
second smaller sitting area ideal for reading and board games.
There are two self contained bedroom suites, one upstairs and one
downstairs, each with a private hallway leading to a double bedroom, a
twin bedroom and a bathroom. Both bathrooms have been completely
refitted to our highest standard, with the upstairs one featuring the
ultimate aid to relaxation - a chromatherapy (multi couloured light
therapy) water jet spa bath.
Artwork in Brae Fell includes a fine
tapestry from June Stock in the dining area, and an amusing collection
of Beryl Cook prints. Furniture in all the main areas has been specially
made by 'Out of the Woods'.
