Whilst some groups of families wish to
stay together all in the same cottage, others prefer the space and
flexibility of booking several adjacent cottages, one of which will be
suitable for the whole group to gather and dine together. Brae Fell normally sleeps 8, however its dining room capacity for 12 means that it works well when booked in conjunction with one of our cottages for 4 people - this also gives the option of an outdoor hot tub for all the group to use. The Laing Barn offers superb accommodation for 10 people in a splendid barn conversion - probably the country's only holiday property with two outdoor hot tubs! Miller Moss has a very large living / dining area (to seat 12, or more for a buffet), and is therefore ideal as a 'hub' when booked in conjunction with one or two other cottages. Great Calva's dining capacity can be increased to 18 for very large groups, or more than that for a less formal buffet. It works well when booked with the adjacent Cloven Stone, which has an outside hot tub for all the group to use. | All the cottages are set around the landscaped courtyard at Monkhouse Hill, so whichever combination you take you will never be more than a few yards away from the rest of your group. |

| Dining table extensions will be set up as required for all the party to eat together, we can also supply additional crockery and cutlery to avoid having to move these about. You will just need to move dining chairs between cottages. | |||||||

| Take the 'self' out of self catering! We can arrange for a chef to cater for you for all meals - this requires Great Calva and Cloven Stone (both 5 stars) to be booked together, and is therefore for a group of up to 18 people. | |||||||
