After an action packed day (or perhaps not...) enjoy coming home to a candlelit dinner  -  the Royal Oak at Welton will deliver to your cottage beautifully presented, ready to serve suppers. 

For food preparation in your cottage you'll be impressed by the enormous range of locally produced meat, fruit and vegetables, sausages, breads, pies, cheeses, chutnies, sauces, puddings  and much more available from Farmers Markets and specialist supermarkets around the county.

We recommend  the contemporary art gallery at Upfront for lunch, or for supper you will get a  friendly welcome at The Old Crown. For that very special celebration, it is hard to beat the romantic setting of Sharrow Bay on the shores of Ullswater.
