Eating in? Get the children to bed, put your feet up and relax ... the Royal Oak at Welton will deliver  beautifully presented, ready to serve suppers to your cottage .

Or give everyone a treat and sample some of the enormous range of locally produced meat, fruit and vegetables, sausages, breads, pies, cheeses, chutnies, sauces, puddings  and much more available from Farmers Markets and specialist supermarkets around the county.

You'll find  child friendly food at the Oddfellows and get a friendly welcome at The Old Crown - a very traditional pub that truly welcomes children (intriguing pub games and puzzles a speciality!) .  Nearest to us is the Royal Oak at Welton, also great for families. For a night out without the children, we can normally arrange babysitting -  why not combine a visit to the North Lakes Spa with dinner at the Martindale Restaurant, famed for its use of local  Cumbrian produce.
