Fisher Gill is a cottage
apartment with a character all of its own, having been created from the ground floor of
the original farmworker's cottage,
Step through the porch and you enter a well presented living area
with a log burning stove, and lovely big soft leather settees on
which to stretch out and relax. Just beyond the dining area is a
separate pine fitted kitchen - but
watch your head as you go through!
Several Cumbrian artists' work feature in Fisher Gill, including a
tapestry by June Stock and a spectacular rustic mirror from Ian
Worthington.
The bedroom suite comprises a large dressing room which leads through
an open archway into the bedroom with its draped four poster bed.
A stunning newly fitted bathroom is adjacent to
the bedroom, and features a corner air spa bath.
Fisher Gill also works well for a couple with a young child - we
place a cot or Z-bed in the dressing room for no extra charge. The
little one is then just next door from the living area in the evenings,
and just far away from you at nighttime!
