What's included?   The prices are per cottage per week, and include bed linen, towels, hot water, electricity and VAT. Central heating is charged by meter reading and paid for on departure. One basket of logs is included, additional baskets are paid for on departure.

Payment.   An Initial Payment of £100 for each £500 (or less) of the rental cost per cottage of your booking is payable when you book. The Balance is then due six weeks before the start of your holiday.

Discounts.   A discount of 5% off the total rental price of all cottages is applied for bookings of two or more cottages. A discount of 5% off the total rental price of all weeks is applied for bookings of two or more weeks. Note that in all cases only one discount (the greatest) will be applied to any one booking.

Short Breaks.  Short breaks are available at a cost of 70% of the weekly price for one, two or three nights, 80% of the weekly price for four nights, or 90% of the weekly price for five nights. Different cottages are available at different periods of the year for short breaks - please check on our availability system and follow the link 'show short breaks'.

Cots and Z-beds.  Any requirement for cots or children's z-beds must be notified when booking. No charge is made for cots. A charge of £20 per week or £15 per part week is made for each child's Z-bed (including bedding), this is added to the booking price. The maximum number of cots or z-beds for each cottage is shown on the Cottage Facilities page.

Dogs.  Well behaved dogs are welcome in all cottages except Fisher Gill, Chapel Beck and Cloven Stone. Details of any dogs must be provided on booking.  A charge of £30 per dog per week, or £20 per dog per part week, is payable on departure. Sorry no puppies less than 12 months old.

Pre-arrival Ordering.  Once your booking is confirmed, you may visit our Ordering Service for high chairs, stair gates and toy boxes (all of which are free) and for grocery hampers, flowers and chocolates, 'pamper packages', meals to be delivered, wines and local beers, cycle hire etc.
