Laing Barn

The Laing Barn comprises Raven Howe and Round Knott cottages.
Entrances to the two cottages are adjacent, onto the shared patio in the courtyard. There are no internal joining doors, however access between is also possible via the shared first floor balcony.
The building, which dates to around 1880, was one of the very first undertakings by near neighbour John Laing- founder of the company which went on to build the M6, Coventry Cathedral and the London O2!
Round Knott has a double and two single bedroom. Raven Howe has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a room with adult bunk beds.
Both have spacious first floor open plan living areas with exposed beams, natural stonework and log burning stoves. Both cottages also have stunning new kitchens fitted in 2017. For more details see under Round Knott and Raven Howe.
Laing Barn has a two smart TVs, two ‘Bluetooth’ music players with CD and DAB, and access to free high speed wifi.
A first floor balcony extends the full length of the Laing Barn, and features two outdoor hot tubs bubbling away ready for use.
We can provide an extension to the dining table in Round Knott together with additional crockery/cutlery, enabling 10 people to dine together in comfort.
